Fall Candle Light Walk at Council Grounds
Council Grounds State Park will hold a Fall Candle Light Walk on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. The walk will start and end at the beach picnic area.
Walkers can choose from either a shorter, more paved walk or a longer trail walk. The walk routes will be determined just before the hike depending on trail conditions.
Members of the Friends of Council Grounds State Park (FoCGSP) will provide a warming fire, light snacks, and water.
Winning photos from this year’s contest will be on display, along with a poster about the Friends group and membership brochures. Park vehicle admission stickers are required; day passes may be purchased at the entrance.
Walkers are encouraged to dress to keep warm and dry, car pool, and bring a flashlight.
