Pehlke named to women’s swimming and diving team at UW-Whitewater
Caitlynn Pehlke from Merrill has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk women’s swimming and diving team for the 2023-24 season. Pehlke is studying Business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
The Warhawks finished fourth at last year’s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships. UW-Whitewater is coached by Elise Knoche, who enters her sixth season at the helm of the program. The team garnered the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Award for the 10th straight season in 2022-23.

Lentz graduates from Marquette University
Macy Lentz of Merrill graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, earning a Doctorate degree in Dentistry.

Weller is UW-La Crosse summer 2023 graduate
Liam Weller of Athens graduated this summer from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree, Management Major and Finance Major.

Depies receives scholarship from UW-Eau Claire
Five hundred sixty-five incoming Freshmen received scholarships from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for the 2023-24 academic year, with many students receiving multiple awards. Each award varies in amount and criteria.
Ryder Depies of Merrill was awarded both the CARE Center Founders Scholarship and the Mark of Excellence Scholarship.
