Weinbrenner Shoe Company celebrated Labor Day in style with an employee party at its Merrill and Marshfield locations on Aug. 30-31, 2023. The event was a resounding success, filled with fun activities, camaraderie, and a commitment to giving back to the community, company representatives said.
The Labor Day Celebration featured a wide range of activities to keep everyone entertained, from a delicious lunch and refreshing root beer floats to old-fashioned pie-eating contests, a dunk tank, bags tournaments, and exciting raffles where employees could win prizes.
One of the highlights of this festive occasion was the charitable initiative undertaken by Weinbrenner Shoe Company employees, Marketing Manager Bianca Boettcher said.
Employees raised $1,300 that will be donated to local humane societies. “This heartwarming gesture reflects the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the places where its employees live and work,” Boettcher said.
“We are thrilled with the success of our Labor Day Celebration this year,” said Jeff Burns, President of Weinbrenner Shoe Company. “This event was not only an opportunity for our employees to come together and enjoy a fantastic time, but also a chance to give back to our community. The generosity shown by our team in raising over $1,300 for local humane societies truly exemplifies our company’s values and spirit.”
Weinbrenner Shoe Company has a long-standing tradition of community involvement, and this Labor Day Celebration is just one example of their dedication to making a difference for both their employees and the community. The company remains committed to producing high-quality Thorogood footwear while also being a responsible corporate citizen.
