St. Francis parish to run Discovering Christ video program
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Merrill will offer “Discovering Christ,” a free educational series aimed at those searching for added meaning and understanding in their lives. The series starts Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, and continues for seven weeks, ending on Oct. 25.
“Discovering Christ” is an experience that invites participants to hear the good news and personally encounter Jesus Christ.
Developed in Baltimore and offered by ChristLife Ministries, the program is open to all.
Babysitting services are available for attendees with small children.
Sessions will begin with a meal at 5:45 p.m., followed by a welcome address and prayer, then a video presentation, then small group discussion. Evenings will end at approximately 8:30 p.m.
A follow-up retreat will be held Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
