Christian Patrick Reynolds, age 25, of Onalaska, was arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on charges of Exposing a Child to Harmful Material after he is alleged to have sent images, including some explicit images of the male anatomy, to a child who had previously identified herself as a 13-year-old girl.
The Snapchat conversations, which began on July 14, 2023, about video games, went on to include explicit, unsolicited photos from Reynolds between July 23 and July 29, the Criminal Complaint alleges.
If convicted of the charge, possible penalties include a fine of up to $10,000 and prison time of up to 42 months in prison or both.
Reynolds appeared by video from the Lincoln County Jail before Judge Robert Russell in Lincoln County Court on Aug. 14. Judge Russell set a $5,000 signature bond for the accused, and he was released later the same day. Reynolds is to have no contact with the victim, her residence, or her school, and is to have no use of social media.
This case has not been concluded. Unless a judgment of conviction is entered, the defendant is presumed innocent of all charges.
