Merrill Street Department to sealcoat E. Main St.
The Merrill Street Department, along with Struck and Irwin Paving, will sealcoat E. Main St. from Stuyvesant St. to Memorial Dr. on June 5 and 6, 2023, weather permitting. Traffic will remain open during the work; however vehicles traveling eastbound on Hwy. 64 will be detoured down S. Center Ave. to E .Main St. at the roundabout. Traffic will also be reduced to one lane in each direction during the work.
Residents living along this project will be asked to use adjacent side streets and alleys for the duration of
the project.
The lane shifts and detour will be put up on Monday, June 5, at 6:00 a.m. and will be taken down on
