In The Lite Electric of Merrill was nominated and then selected to be a finalist in the Greater Wausau Chamber’s 2023 Small Business of the Year award in the Business to Consumer category. The winners in each category were announced at an awards ceremony on April 13, 2023, and while In The Lite Electric didn’t take the win in their category, they were honored to recognized by their peers with the nomination and finalist selection.
“We are truly honored and would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years,” the owners said. “A special shoutout to all of our employees and clients for making In The Lite what it is today.”
Additionally, In the Lite Electric recently shared the following Spring Safety Tips:
• Ladders–even those made of wood–that come into contact with a power line can prove fatal. Keep all ladders at least 10 feet away from overhead power lines.
• Unplug outdoor tools and appliances when not in use.
• Water and electricity do not mix. Avoid damp conditions–including wet grass–when using electricity.
