Rev. Larry G. Jourdan, 70, of Kewanee, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Larry was born June 20, 1952 in Merrill, WI, the son of Gene and Irene (Mork) Jourdan. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He obtained his Doctorate in Theology and was the Pastor and Founder of the Living Hope Fellowship Church in Kewanee and Covenant Life Ministries International of Kewanee, IL and Ukraine. Larry loved helping people in need whether it was spiritually or simply being a friend and assisting them with a project in their home.
Larry is survived by cousins and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Following cremation rites, a memorial service was held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 17, 2023 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee with Pastor John Reside officiating. He will be interred at Chat Community Cemetery in Irma, WI on May 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Pastor David Sutton will officiate. Memorials may be directed to Covenant Life Ministries in Kewanee.
