Easter Egg Hunts for kids and adults this Saturday

Admittedly, the upcoming Merrill Easter Egg Hunts will bear little resemblance to this springy, green grass image of coatless children in short sleeves about to frolic in the warm sun in search of Easter eggs, but it illustrates the concept. Not surprisingly, it’s difficult to find stock images of Easter Egg Hunts in the snow and cold, yet many Merrill residents will have fond memories of exactly that. Stock photo.

Annual Merrill Area Parks and Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt for kids

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, April 8, 2023, the Merrill Parks and Recreation Department will hold their Annual Easter Egg Hunt, this year at Lion’s Park in Merrill (on Third St. west of Prairie River Middle School, across from Stange’s Park). This one is just for all the kids, who are invited to come and hunt for Easter eggs and get some candy or a prize. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras, as the Easter Bunny will be there and they can take photos of their children with the infamous rabbit.
See the Merrill Parks and Recreation Dept. Facebook page for more information, rules, and if there is a change in venue.

Easter Egg Hunt for adults and kids at the Sawmill Brewery

That same day, Saturday, April 8, both kids and adults can get into the action with an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt for both adults and kids at the Sawmill Brewing Company, 1110 E. 10th St. in Merrill, beginning at 12:00 noon. The Easter Bunny will also be there for photos. Chef C’s Munchie Mobile food truck is also scheduled to be there.
