The following donations were approved and/or accepted at the March 15, 2023, Merrill Area Public Schools (MAPS) Board of Directors meeting:
Donation of an 8’ Tidd Tech Snow Roller (valued at $2,529) and a 6’ Tidd Tech Snow Groomer/Tracksetter (valued at $10,962) from the Friends of the Evjue/Merrill School Forest; grant/donation from an anonymous donor through the Community Foundation of NorthCentral Wisconsin for mental health navigation services at MAPS valued at $24,964.54; a check from the Law Office of Mary Sue Anderson LLC valued at $2,000 for the Theatre Jays; multiple book series from Katie Hanson valued at $250 for the PRMS Library for checkout options for PRMS students and staff; the following donations for the Kate Goodrich PBIS Program: a gift basket from Culver’s valued at $40; a check from Waid Funeral Home valued at $100; a check from Taylor-Stine Funeral Home valued at $50; a check from Wausau Tax and Accounting Inc. valued at $100; a check from Toyota of Wausau valued $100; a gift card from Dairy Queen of Merrill valued at $20; a check from Air Quality Control valued at $200; gift cards from Polito’s Pizza valued at $35; a check from Silverman Chiropractic valued at $100; and, a check from The Pizza Shop valued at $300; a check from Culver’s of Merrill valued at $750 for the MHS Girls Basketball fundraiser; a check from Culver’s of Merrill valued at $650 for the Bluejay Nest; cash from an anonymous donor valued at $500 for the MHS Nest; the following donations for the PRMS 6th grade fundraiser: $120 from the Family of Jameson Gerdes; $25 from Lynn Roeder; $20 from the Family of Aaron Collinsworth; and, $10 from the Family of Evelyn Johnson; cash from an anonymous donor valued at $200 to go towards student lunch accounts at PRMS; and funds from the Merrill Eagles Auxiliary valued at $1,000 for the MHS Travel Club and to help defray the cost of student participants’ trip.
