On March 1, 2023, Don Friske, Chairman of the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors, announced Renee Krueger was appointed to the position of Lincoln County Administrative Coordinator. Krueger was the Lincoln County Director of Social Services for the past seven years and the Interim Administrative Coordinator since Nov. 2022.
“During this time, her quality of work and professionalism has been very evident to the members of her oversite committee and the entire County Board,” Friske said.
“Renee brings an impressive work history to the position as a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a double major. She worked for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at Stanley Prison as well as Lincoln Hills School as a Social Worker and Unit Manager. Renee also worked for Marathon County Child Protective Services. When the opportunity presented itself, Renee came home to Lincoln County when she accepted the position of Director of Social Services.”
The Lincoln County Board is confident Krueger will “manage the complex issues of the daily business of Lincoln County and will also be instrumental in charting a path toward the future,” he said.
“I am very pleased and thankful for Renee’s willingness to accept this very difficult and integral position of Lincoln County’s Administrative Coordinator. I look forward to working with her in her new role,” Friske said.
“Renee has an outstanding team around her that is eager to help her with her transition from Social Services and her future vision for Lincoln County,” said Christopher J. Marlowe, Lincoln County Clerk.
