02-13-23
At 12:05 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop, and the driver was found to have a warrant for his arrest through Marathon County. He was arrested for the warrant. Marijuana was also found in the man’s possession, and he was cited for possession of marijuana.
At 2:54 p.m. an officer arrested a male for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 3:29 p.m. a caller reported she had located suspected drug paraphernalia at her apartment she just moved into, presumably left behind by the previous tenant.

At 3:57 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 6:06 p.m. a caller reported a burglary, after it was found furniture possibly stolen from his building. The building was found locked. The caller will be checking with a tenant to ensure the items weren’t moved by that person. Follow up investigation ongoing.
At 11:22 p.m. dispatch received a 911 hang up call, and a female could be heard in the background yelling “stop.” Officers found a male and female who are currently in the process of divorce were involved in an altercation. The male had since moved out and into his own apartment. The female arrived and entered the apartment and bedroom without consent. The female then began physically assaulting the man, and when he attempted to call 911, she wrestled the phone away from him. An officer located the female, after observing her leaving the residence, and conducted a traffic stop. The female was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to dwelling, intimidation of a victim, and bail jumping. The female was also found to be operating while intoxicated and was arrested for that offense, as well.

At 1:41 a.m. an ambulance was dispatched for an intoxicated male that fell. It was found the man was drinking in violation of his probation rules. The report will be sent to his probation agent.
At 11:18 a.m. an officer was requested at the hospital for a male patient who was becoming unruly. The man had calmed down by the time officers arrived.
At 3:12 p.m. a caller reported excessive dog feces in a neighbor’s yard. An officer spoke to the neighbor who agreed to clean up the mess.
At 4:00 p.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
At 8:29 p.m. a caller reported he accidentally fired a gun in his apartment after tripping. The round was found to have penetrated a neighboring building, becoming lodged in the wall. Nobody was injured.

At 2:12 a.m. officers were dispatched to a fight reported in the parking lot of a tavern. Upon arrival, several people reported a male had instigated a fight with another man, prompting others to become involved. The man had fled prior to officers’ arrival and could not be located. Several people knew the male, and he was found to have an open bond prohibiting him from being in taverns. Given the report that he became involved in an altercation, he will be charged with disorderly conduct and three counts of bail jumping.
At 6:19 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop and could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle. The driver admitted he had marijuana, and a search revealed a bag full of various marijuana products and pipes. The driver was cited for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy who is also a drug recognition expert determined the driver was under the influence of THC, and the driver was arrested for second offense operating while intoxicated.
At 7:22 p.m. a caller reported vandalism to a vending machine at a laundromat. The investigation is ongoing.

At 7:46 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation. K9 Dasty was requested and indicated a positive alert to the odor of drugs coming from the vehicle. A search revealed methamphetamine in the vehicle. A passenger was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and another passenger was found to have two warrants for her arrest and was arrested for those warrants.
