Gerald Burgoyne, 81, passed away on February 3, 2023 at The Retreat of Buford under hospice care in the memory care unit. Gerald was born on February 6, 1941 in Ringle Township, Wisconsin son of the late Ervin and Sadie (Bardon) Burgoyne. He attended and graduated from Wausau High School. Gerald proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962 to 1968. In 1971 he married Kathleen (Kathy) Krueger and together they raised their three children. Gerald and his family lived in Wisconsin until 1985 when they moved to Georgia where he still resided. Gerald enjoyed camping, Nascar races, and spending time with his family. He worked for Sundial Plumbing until he retired.
Gerald is survived by his wife Kathy; daughters Jerri Sobrilsky of Beaver Dam, WI, Becky Adams of Dacula, GA, and Sarah Burgoyne-Carl (Anthony Carl) of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren Dale Sobrilsky, Ryan Sobrilsky, and Casey Sobrilsky and Lillian Carl; siblings; Dale Burgoyne; sister-in-law Mattie Burgoyne (Norman). He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Suzanne Burgoyne, son-in-law William (Becky) Adams, brother Norman Burgoyne, and sister-in-law Jean (Dale) Burgoyne, and in-laws Harold and Florine Krueger.
