WisDOT holding public involvement meeting on Lincoln County project

Officials will discuss intersection options for US Hwy. 8 between Cty. L and Klade Rd.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is holding a public involvement meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. to discuss proposed options for US Hwy. 8 between Cty. L and Klade Rd. in Lincoln County. The meeting will be held in the Tomahawk City Hall Council Chambers, 23 N. 2nd St., in Tomahawk.

To join online via computer or smart device, participants should go to: www.zoom.com, click “JOIN,” and then enter the above access code and passcode.
A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by an open-house format.
Options will be discussed pertaining to the deterioration of asphalt on US 8 and improving safety at the intersections of the highway with Lincoln Cty. L and at Klade Rd. Options for improving the Hiawatha Trail crossing of US 8 will also be presented.
Construction is scheduled for 2027.
