January 3, 1940 – December 9, 2022. Edith Townsend passed away Dec. 9th in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is survived by her husband Don Townsend, her sister Marion Lemke, her children Susan (Harmon) Thompson, Jerry Harmon Jr. (Tammy), Peter Harmon (Christine), Keith Harmon (Marni), Stacy Harmon, and Dino Townsend. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Wendt. Sisters, Marge Hornak, Pauline Manka, Dorothy Taylor, and brother, Walter McLaughlin. Sons, Scott Harmon and Jody Harmon.
Edith always loved spending time with family. Family picnics were always a summer highlight for everyone. Edith was a huge Greenbay Packer fan. Even spending her summers in AZ, her loyalty never ceased. “When you look into your mother’s eyes, you know that is the purest form of love you can find on this earth.”
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
