The Black Squirrel Scurry, a City of Merrill Parks and Recreation Department activity, donated some of the proceeds from their July 2022 event to the following organizations pictured: $750 to VFW Post 1638, $75 to VFW Auxiliary for volunteering at the race, and $75 to Boy Scout Troop 503 for pulling kayaks out of the river for racers.
