Susan Marie Kretschmer, Saginaw, Michigan, Formerly of Rockford, Illinois. The daughter of Leonard Kretschmer and the late Nancy (Borelli) Kretschmer, Susan was born on July 13, 1971 in Merrill, WI. She graduated from Delta College, with her bachelor’s degree of Office Professions, Office Assistant. She enjoyed playing darts and lighthouses. Above all, Susan cherished the time spent with her loved ones.
Surviving are her daughter and son: Angela Thompson, Anthony Kretschmer; her father: Leonard Kretschmer; her sister: April (Jeremy) Hemmingson, brother Henry (Misty) Kretschmer. Also surviving are her niece Isabella Hemmingson and grandson Neven Wicker, extended family members and friends. Susan was preceded in death by her mother and her nephew: Nancy Kretschmer and Tony Ray Kretschmer.
Honoring Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at VFW Post, 922 7th St., Rockford, IL 61104 on Oct. 28th from 2pm – 6pm. Private family burial will take place on Oct. 29th at Snow Hill Cemetery, W6847 Joe Snow Road, Merrill, WI 54452 at 10:30am with luncheon to follow at 12:00pm at Christ United Methodist Church, East 3rd Street, 300 N Mill St, Merrill, WI 54452.
