Halloween Ends (Now showing in theatres)
This film is rated PG-13 – for language, adult themes, and gore

Well, it’s Halloween time again, everyone, so naturally a new Halloween film has arrived for your viewing pleasure. Halloween Ends is the last of the new trilogy, wrapping up the Michael Myers story, and I have to say, it’s not all that bad.
As always, I will refrain from spoilers, but it’s safe to say he goes on another killing spree. However, there is a bit of a twist this time, as he is not alone.
Back again is Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strobe, doing her best to have some semblance of a normal life, even though she is known in her hometown as the survivor of multiple killing sprees.
I remember being 11 years old and sneaking into the cinema to see the first Halloween and boy, howdy, that film messed me up! So seeing her back once again is always a treat.
Is Halloween Ends good? Sure, why not? No new ground is broken. Well, that’s not true, there is a new twist which actually works, but when you drop your ticket fee down, you pretty much know what you are getting. Bad guy kills, bad guy nearly indestructible, pretty people die. It’s not rocket science.
That being said, it’s worth a viewing but will never win an Academy Award.
Halloween Ends gets three out of five stars for wrapping up the Halloween movies in a satisfactory way and giving us one twist that works, making this one just different enough to see.
