Lincoln County Emergency Management advises Frontier is currently experiencing a widespread outage affecting Lincoln County and potentially surrounding areas including emergency 911 telephone services, land line services, and Internet services.
Lincoln County’s inbound and outbound dialing including 911 is currently down; please keep your cell phone available if you are able to. Outbound calling to 911 emergency services for other Frontier customers in the area may also not be working. Please help spread the word: Keep cell phones handy and use them just in case the landline does not work. 911 calls are being routed to other area dispatch centers, i.e. Marathon and Langlade Counties, at this time, per recent tests by Lincoln County Emergency Management.
There is no ETA on bringing these services back online by Frontier.
