In a press release on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022, Gov. Tony Evers announced the State Building Commission, which is comprised of three State Senators, three State Representatives, and one citizen member, and chaired by Gov. Evers, had approved $306 million in projects across Wisconsin, to include a project in Lincoln County.
Construction of a new toilet and shower building and vault toilet facility at Council Grounds State Park was on the list of the Commission’s highlighted and approved projects.
