Our dear Mother and Grandmother, Marcella “Marcy” Johnson formerly Marcy Block entered into eternal life July 1, 2022 at the age of 94 with family by her side. She will be remembered by family and friends as a kind and compassionate friend, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her first husband Roger
Block, who together owned the 4-Seasons Bar on Big Arbor Vitae Lake from 1960 to 1974, where they start the best Friday night fish fry in the area. After retirement they moved to Mann Lake in Boulder Junction and then Woodruff, spending winters in Florida. After his passing she eventually went to Texas for the winter where she met her second husband Ward Johnson from Wichita, Kansas. She lived in Kansas until his passing when she moved back to Woodruff. She was a great cook, loved getting dressed up, dancing, playing pool, fishing and when she moved into One Penny Place, playing cards, bingo, sing a longs with her friends there.
Also preceded in death by her parents, sister Virginia and brother Ellsworth. Survived by one brother Leland and her children Sheila (David) Punches, Perry (Kris) Block and Shelley Block and by grandchildren Cole Punches, Casey Block, Any (Chelsea) Block and great grandchildren Caroline and Charlotte Block and
many friends and relatives.
