Judith “Judy” Ann Paszek (Prentice)

Our dear, sweet mother Judith “Judy” Ann Paszek (Prentice) of Fernandina Beach, FL went home to Jesus on June 19, 2022, at the age of 76. Judy was born to John & Myrtle Prentice (Sawyer) on October 11, 1945 in Tomahawk, WI.  She grew up in Merrill, WI & as a child Judy always showed kindness & deeply cared for other people. Judy had two daughters, Tammy& Angie. She worked so hard to give her daughters a wonderful childhood & and continued to support them throughout their adult lives as they grew families of their own. She always bragged about how proud she was of them & their accomplishments. Judy’s family was everything to her. Although humble by nature, Judy had many of her own accomplishments too. She had a very strong work ethic, to the point where she took on two jobs for most of her life to provide for her two girls. She was a wonderful mother who was kind, sweet, and giving. Despite her physical limitations, she was fiercely proud of her independence for many years. Judy enjoyed making things “pretty” & had a talent for home décor.  She enjoyed camping, gardening & animals of all kinds. Judy lived in Wisconsin until 2009, when she then moved to Florida where she resided until the Lord called her home.

Previously departed loved ones include mother & father Myrtle & John Prentice; Brothers Jerry Prentice, Terry Prentice (Debbie Krahn) & Art Prentice; brother in law Jeff Annis; her beloved dog Coco. She left behind her siblings John Prentice Jr. (Beverly), Rick Prentice (Sharon), Linda Annis, David Prentice (Tyler); sister in law Karen Prentice; daughters Tammy Heil (Craig Viergutz) & Angela Aragon (Roland); granddaughters Ariana Aragon (Aidan Augustin)& Samantha Gilpatrick (Dillon); grandsons Joseph Aragon & Jacob Radmer; great granddaughter Marlee Aragon; many nieces and nephews, especially Gayle Abrosini; dear friend of many years Rita Wendt (Johnson); her wonderful caregiver Alicia Kinney.

Thank you God for letting us have such a loving and caring mother. Her celebration of life will be held in October 2022 in Wisconsin.
