The following donations were approved and/or accepted at the June 15 Merrill Area Public Schools (MAPS) Board of Directors meeting:
The donation of funds from the Merrill Lions Club valued at $2,500 for the purchase of an ice machine at Jay Stadium; a check from Merrill United Way valued at $100 for purchasing items for The Nest at PRMS; checks from the Merrill Foundation valued at $1,000 for purchasing items for The Nest at PRMS; PVC tubing for adaptive learning from The Nelson Family valued at $60 for allowing students with various exceptionalities to thrive in their educational experience; rental of the Sell Building from Lincoln County Fair Board valued at $175 for the Kate Goodrich and Washington School Fundraiser product pick up; meal prep, equipment, and time from Arthur Merget valued at $250 for the Kate Goodrich staff appreciation lunch from the PTO; band clothes from St. Vinny’s valued at $97 for PRMS band students to use for concerts; and, a check from the Eagles Auxiliary for $1,000 for the Merrill High School Marching Jays.
