Wisconsin River Rats 14 U
The 2022 14U Wisconsin River Rats participated in the Cactus Classic this past Mother’s Day Weekend in Mauston, Wis. First, they lost to MVP Blue 21-19, then beat the Warehouse Warriors 22-8 on Saturday. Sunday the team was again aligned with MVB Blue to get back into the Championship Bracket game and the River Rats edged them 7-6. In the Championship game they faced MVP White and won 12-4. The Rats knocked in 60 runs in 4 games to win the 14U Red Bracket. The Traveling Team members are local athletes from Merrill, Schofield, and Wausau.
