On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, the public is invited to participate in a Family Fun Night/Chalk It Up event with fun activities for all ages. The event will take place at Normal Park in Merrill as a part of a day of activities beginning with the Merrill Area Farmers Market in the morning and ending with the Merrill City Band concert in the evening.
Participants who wish to create chalk art should pre-register at: https://forms.gle/f6aPD5fxN5dR8v6z7 to reserve a space. The cost is $15 for a square and includes chalk. Chalk artists are asked to check-in at 7:30 a.m. with a start time of 7:45 a.m., and winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the top artist’s drawings in the following categories: 12-16 years old, age 17 and up, and community choice.
A free Family Fun Night will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and includes activities such as inflatables, crafts, face painting, balloon animals, and more.
The Merrill City Bank will play at 7:00 p.m.
