Merrill Noon Optimists honor protective services with bakery

Sharon Schmidt of the Merrill Noon Optimists said some of the club’s mission is to honor law enforcement. “In the past, we have had a yearly protective services banquet for law enforcement,” Schmidt said.

“This year we are donating quarterly bakery goods from Polka Dotted Pie to the Merrill Police department, Lincoln County sheriff Department, and Merrill Fire Department,” she said.
