Crocodile Rockin’ coming to Merrill

The Merrill Area Concert Association (MACA) will present Crocodile Rockin’, an Elton John tribute show, at the Merrill High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022. Featuring Jim Witter, an entertainer who delivers Elton John’s most popular songs from throughout the years, including Crocodile Rock, Rocket Man, Tiny Dancer, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me, Candle In The Wind, and I’m Still Standing, just to name a few, Witter performs a lively and dynamic show that makes it easy to confuse him with the real Sir Elton John.

Witter also engages the audience and invites them to sing along with many of Elton John’s best-known songs.

While attendance is limited to MACA members only, it’s easy to become a member, and purchasing a season membership opens the door to attending MACA’s other concerts and live professional music events during the year, as well.

Currently, season memberships cost $45 for adults, $18 for students, and $105 for families, and while memberships can be purchased at any time, buying a membership early provides the best value, as members can then attend all of the season’s performances for that one price, because the cost of membership is the same whether members attend one or all of the concerts. As MACA says: Your membership is your ticket to the performance.

MACA was formed in November 1967 with the purpose of bringing professional performances to the greater Merrill community and they still exist to do exactly that. MACA also has a reciprocal arrangement with the Medford and Antigo Concert Associations.
