Nelson registers as write-in candidate for District Four Alderman

On Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022, Clyde R. Nelson of Merrill declared his candidacy, as a write-in candidate, for the position of Alderman for District Four in the City of Merrill, by virtue of his letter to the Merrill City Clerk’s office.

He is now officially registered as a write-in candidate and his name will be included on the appropriate list at the polling place.

Nelson is currently the Executive Director of the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the City of Merrill’s Redevelopment Authority (RDA).
