A 40-year-old Tomahawk woman was injured when her snowmobile left the trail and struck a tree in the Town of Harrison Monday evening. She was airlifted to a local hospital.
A 30-year-old Wisconsin Rapids woman was arrested Monday evening on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, felony bail jumping, three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, and operating a motor vehicle after revocation, following a traffic stop on County Rd. K near USH 51. A 36-year-old Wausau man was also arrested following the traffic stop on felony probation and parole warrant.
Two inmates of the Lincoln County Jail are facing charges following an altercation in the jail Tuesday morning. A 26-year-old Merrill man was charged with disorderly conduct and a 25-year-old Merrill man was charged with disorderly conduct and strangulation/suffocation following the incident.
