William “Bill” Charles Frazier Jr., age 74, of Merrill, Wisconsin passed away on February 2, 2022, in Wausau, Wisconsin. He was born on May 24, 1947, to William Charles Sr. and Evelyn Anna (Forster) Frazier in Merrill, Wisconsin. In his younger years, Bill shot pool and played slow-pitch. During his later years, he enjoyed bowling and golfing. Bill was a car enthusiast. He had been participating in the Ice Drag races since they began. He was Crew Chief for “Frazier Racing”. He loved ice drags, drag racing and stock car racing. He also loved spending time at his log cabin that he built by hand.
Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sherry (Fowler) Frazier, children; Sandra (Perry) Mattson, John (Melanee Mirek) Frazier, Hali Koebe, and Mindy (Jonathan) Spanier, grandchildren; Jacob, Eric, David, Liberty, Abby, Emma, Aiden, Mallory, and Lainey, sisters; Cherie “Sis” (Ric) Hysing, Patricia “Pat” (Tom) Porath, and Charlene “Augo” (Joe) Hildebrand, and his dog Macy. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:00 am at Waid Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 9:00 am until the time of service also at the funeral home.
