Come out for the game and celebrate Merrill legends in the Hall of Fame
The Merrill Basketball Program will hold their inaugural Hall of Fame Night this Friday, Feb. 4, in the Merrill High School Field House. The Boys JV and JV2 games will start at 5:45 p.m., with Boys Varsity Basketball to follow at 7:15. At halftime during the Boys Varsity game, the inaugural class of inductees will be welcomed and celebrated. “This will be a special night as we celebrate six very deserving former Boys and Girls Basketball legends,” Merrill Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach Troy Pieper said. “The Hall of Fame Class of 2021 includes: From the Boys program, Jim Langenkamp, Paul Jesperson, and Coach Don Kerr; from the Girls program, Janet (Fruend) Wardall, Lisa (Bonnell) Handlin, and Coach Bob Yuska.
