Rose M Bolling

Rose M. Bolling, 69, of Merrill, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Aspirus Merrill Hospital. Rose was born January 3, 1953, in Whitehall, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Glen and Patricia (Thoma) Julson. She married Dean Bolling on September 30, 1972, in Whitehall, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2012. They enjoyed family farming for 20 years in Gleason. She enjoyed caring for others through her re-established degree as a C.N.A. Rose was a voracious reader devouring many genres of novels. She was able to enjoy many travels especially with her sister to Europe. Rose fulfilled her and Dean’s lifelong dream of a cruise to Alaska. Most of all, her family was her life, and she enjoyed all the opportunities to spend time with them; through the many weekend trips to the water parks, watching Friday night football, attending swim meets and softball games, and baking with the grandkids. She also enjoyed spending time with her many friends.

Rose is survived by her children, Kevin Bolling (Robin Sanford) of Merrill, Jenni (Eric) Pehlke of Merrill, and Paul Bolling of Shelby, NC; grandchildren, Jentzen (Greg) Balza, Dillon Chieves, Noah Bolling, Melony (Micah) Hershey, Morgan Bolling, Devin Miller, Aiden Pehlke, and Caitlynn Pehlke; and siblings, Debbie (Gaylord) Herbert of Holmen, WI, Darrell (Debbie) Julson of Whitehall, WI, David Julson of Whitehall, WI, and John Julson of Whitehall, WI. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Bolling; parents, Glen and Patricia Julson; and two brothers, Gary Julson and Keith Julson.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Noon, Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Father Maridas Vallabhaneni will preside. The Bolling family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Following the service, a lunch will be held at 1:00 P.M.at the Eagle’s Club, 1205 Lake St., Merrill.
