Climate change impacts on our Northwoods: A naturalist’s perspective

The Jan. 11 monthly program of the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods will feature John Bates, a professional naturalist, author, and columnist, who will share his knowledge and insight regarding the impact of climate change in Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
The science of climate change can become highly technical and fly well over most people’s heads. But it can be brought down to earth in terms of the trees and birds and mammals and fish that are already being affected, and will be far more affected into the future. What’s at stake? What needs to be done and where do we start?
The 1:00 p.m. program will be held virtually and is open to the public.  Visit www.lwvnow.org to find out more about John Bates, this program and to register.
