11-22-2021
At approximately 9:28 a.m., an officer received a shoplifting complaint at a local department store. Asset protection staff informed officers that a male party had a cart full of merchandise that was not paid for. When asset protection approached the suspect, he proceeded to take off in an unknown vehicle. The total amount of merchandise that was not paid for was $1,526.16. The suspect’s whereabouts and identity is unknown.

At approximately 11:07 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Superior St. for a report of suspicious activity. The report indicated there were two individuals on the property. One person was on the garage and the other person in the yard. Officers did not locate the suspects in question.

11-23-2021
At approximately 2:13 p.m. officers initiated a traffic stop on E. Main St. near Curran St. During the traffic stop, officers located marijuana and methamphetamine in the vehicle. All three occupants were arrested and transported to the Lincoln County Jail, facing multiple drug and bail jumping charges.

At approximately 7:37 p.m. an officer received a report of a theft at a local food market. There was a report that two female individuals had been concealing oil products. It was estimated around $1,000 worth of merchandise stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers conducted multiple traffic stops throughout the day.

At approximately 10:5 p.m. an officer received a report of a damaged parked vehicle on Van Rensselear St. The reporting party stated the vehicle may have been shot at by a BB gun. The investigation is ongoing.

11-25-2021
At approximately 7:32 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on W. Taylor St. near N. State St. The driver was cited for operating without insurance and unregistered vehicle.

At approximately 7:55 p.m. officers responded to the 800 block of N. Prospect St. for a report of an open bond violation. The suspect was arrested for one count of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping.

11-26-2021
At approximately 5:17 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence on the 600 block of Superior St. for a report of trespassing. Officers arrived and investigated the incident, and it was determined that there was no one trespassing at the residence.

11-27-2021
At approximately 1:38 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on County Rd. G near Center Ave. The driver was cited for their speed.

11-28-2021
At approximately 8:59 p.m. officers were dispatched to 407 W. Main St. for a report of an intoxicated male who had a threatening demeanor. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the suspect and complainant. The male party was instructed to leave the property.

At approximately 9:07 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence at the 300 block of Grand Ave. for a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, the suspect left the residence and was reported to have traveled northbound. An officer spoke with the victim and obtained her statement, and it was determined that the suspect was getting charged with domestic disorderly conduct. Officers later located the suspect at an apartment complex off Memorial Dr. The suspect was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
