To the Editor:
In response to the letter of Richard Kotschi 10/21/21:
There are Anti-christs in our world. According to Bible Prophecy, we only need to be concerned about the final one.
President Trump does not fit the definition of Anti-christ according to Webster.
1. One who denies or opposes Christ, a great antagonist, expects to fill the world with wickedness, but be conquered by Christ at His second coming. 2. A false Christ.
If Trump is a false Christ, it is because he was very concerned about the well-being and safety of everyone and the Country. He gave us a better life and more rights and freedoms. President Biden fulfills the first definition, a great antagonist, and expects to fill the world with wickedness.
This administration is trying to make Constitutional changes, take away some of our rights and freedoms, and make us a Socialist Nation.
The News Media is corrupt, not giving true reports. There have been over 30,000 deaths and hundreds of thousands of side effects from the experimental vaccines, and they are bad for children. Check Websites, listen to both sides of the news. Be aware of the misinformation of Dr. Fauci, the CDC, FDA, WHO, NIH, and pharmacies. They have blocked alternative treatment. Many doctors and epidemiologists treating patients with Hydroxychloroquine and a Human Ivermectin and others are having excellent results. It was stated that 80 – 85% of the 700,000 people who died from COVID would probably be alive if treated this way. We should have the right to treatment of choice.

– Thank you,

To the Editor:
Hypocrisy
On Oct. 12, 2021, our Merrill Common Council passed a resolution on a vote of 5-3 “that the City of Merrill employees will not be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, … and the Common Council encourages all city contractors to not require COVID-19 vaccinations as a condition of their employment.” The Council also approved Vision and Value Statements, which included: “Merrill will be recognized as a welcoming city with a safe and diverse community;” “Provide respectful service to those who live, work, or visit,” and “Make decisions with an understanding of their impact on the people and community.” How can we be SAFE and RESPECTED, when city employees and employees of city contractors are not required to receive the COVID vaccine? What IMPACT will this resolution have on the people of our community? It is pure hypocrisy, when our Common Council says one thing in a resolution, but then the opposite in Vision and Value Statements. Only when everyone has received the COVID vaccine will we all be safe and respected. I say “Thank You,” to the three members of our Common Council, who voted “nay” on the resolution.

– Respectfully submitted,
Catherine G. LeMay-Brown
