Lincoln County sees sudden rash of robberies

Over the last week, rural Lincoln County has seen a sudden rash of robberies. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reported a burglary at a storage unit in the Town of Merrill on Tuesday morning, Oct. 19.

Just days later another Town of Merrill resident on Lincoln Dr. was burglarized, with power tools and a generator being stolen.

A local tree farm reported about 1,000 pounds of boughs were stolen from his tree farm on County Rd. H Saturday night.

Then a Town of Wilson man reported a go cart and a DR brush mower were stolen from his property on Hillside Rd. And a Town of Bradley man reported a set of car ramps and chrome jack stands were stolen from his property on Alber Rd.
