On Tuesday, Oct. 12, the Merrill Varsity Volleyball Team won their home conference match against Stevens Point. The Bluejays beat the Panthers 3-0 in Merrill and celebrated not only their win, but also Senior Night, recognizing the last home conference game with four of this year’s Senior players – McKenna Smith, Molly Dallman, Olivia Losee, and Dani Korman – and their contributions to the team.

Just two days later, on Thursday, Oct. 14, the Lady Jays headed to Marshfield for an away conference match against the Marshfield Tigers. Despite playing hard, the Jays suffered a loss to the Tigers, one of the toughest teams they’ve played this season. The Tigers are currently in the lead in the Wisconsin Valley Conference, having achieved a 10-2 win/loss ratio after the Oct. 14 game.
