08-09-2021
At 1:36 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a report of a theft of a lawn sprayer. The victim stated the sprayer was stolen sometime over the weekend and estimates the value to be near $350. The investigation is ongoing.
08-11-2021
At 2:08 a.m. an ambulance was dispatched for a male that had been involved in a fight at a hotel. It was found the two had been staying together and one became intoxicated and began arguing about money owed by the other. This led to a physical altercation in which one male was put in a choke hold and bitten. The male was arrested for battery and strangulation/suffocation.
At 8:31 p.m. a driver’s license was found and turned over to an officer at the festival grounds. The owner was contacted and will pick it up tomorrow.

At 5:00 p.m. an officer stopped a vehicle, as the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. He was found to not have a valid driver’s license and had been convicted several times for operating without a valid license. He was arrested for operating without a valid license.
At 7:35 p.m. a caller reported his bicycle was stolen from outside a hotel early that morning. A witness reported a male had taken the bicycle claiming it was his. The suspect and bicycle were located at the fair. The suspect reported someone at the hotel told him the bicycle had been sitting there for a couple of days and, as such, he could use it. The owner was satisfied in receiving his bicycle back and did not wish enforcement action to be taken against the suspect.

At 1:55 a.m. officers responded to a residence for a warrant pick up on a male party. The warrant was sent from the Department of Probation and Parole. The officers were able to locate the male party, and he was taken into custody on the warrant.
At 4:51 p.m. officers responded to a residence for a disturbance between two female parties. It was determined that the females were involved in an argument and, during the argument, one of them broke a window and a door to the residence. The female that caused the damage will be summonsed for the charges.
At 8:26 p.m. officers were dispatched to the fairgrounds for a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was struck in the back of the head by another male party while at the Fair. The suspect was identified by the victim but was unable to be located. The investigation is ongoing.
08-14-2021
At 2:35 p.m. Officers were advised of a male party at the Lincoln County Fair that had an active warrant for his arrest. Officers were able to locate the male party, and he was arrested on the warrant.
At 5:16 p.m. an officer responded to a disorderly conduct complaint in reference to a male party yelling inappropriate comments at juvenile females at the Fair. The male party was cited for disorderly conduct.
At 6:08 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a littering complaint in reference to a glass bottle being thrown out of a vehicle. The officer located the vehicle and made contact with a female party who admitted to throwing the bottle out of the vehicle. The female was cited for littering.
At 9:18 p.m. officers were dispatched to the fairgrounds to remove a disorderly female party from a beer tent. The female was located and asked to leave. The female refused to leave and became more disorderly and ultimately resistive with the officers. The female was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting/obstructing.
08-15-2021
At 4:44 p.m. an officer responded to a local gas station for a report of a gas skip. The driver pumped approximately $60 of gasoline and drove off without paying. The investigation is ongoing.
At 7:36 p.m. officers received a report of a wanted party driving on Taylor St. The wanted male party was located at an address in Lincoln County and arrested on charges of threatening messages.
At 10:02 p.m. officers responded to a suspicious person complaint in reference to a male party attempting to enter a garage. Officers searched for the suspicious party and later located him at another residence attempting to steal a vehicle. The male party was arrested for taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
At 11:38 p.m. officers were called to a local tavern for a report of an intoxicated patron being disorderly, trying to start fights, making threats, and refusing to leave the facility. Officers arrived and the suspect was located. The male suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct.
