Bluejay Varsity Trap Team wins one, loses one

The results are in for the Week 6, May 4. competition against SPASH, and the Varsity Bluejays took the win by a score of Bluejays 120 – SPASH 106.
The results are also in for Week 7. On May 11, Merrill lost that one to the Northland Pines Eagles by four points. Final score: Merrill 110 – Northland Pines Eagles 114.
Jordan Smukowski is holding second place in Varsity for the Conference with a score of 163, just two points below the lead scorer. And Cameron Stadler is holding onto fifth place in the Conference at the Varsity level with a score of 161.
Robert Hoff and Hollis Eternicka are holding onto second and fourth place in the Conference at the JV level, while Maria Ashbrenner is hanging on to second place in the Conference at the Entry level.
While there were no perfect scores this week, “Youth is the future of all clubs, this club has the coaches and the talent to be number one,” Coach Jeff Berg said. A lot can change from week to week, but one thing that doesn’t change: The kids are still having fun and no injuries.
“No concussions, no blown ACL’s, just a safe gun handling environment,” Coach Kevin Holz added.
