Jefferson School second grader Claire Hoock was named Student of the Week for May 6, 2021. Claire is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geoffrey and Heidi Hoock.
Mrs. Priebe nominated her. “Claire is always positive, helpful, and kind,” Mrs. Priebe wrote. “Claire is an extremely kind and caring friend to all of her classmates. She
never gives up and perseveres until she accomplishes her goals. She is a wonderful role model and friend to her peers. Claire is an extremely kind and caring friend to all of her classmates.”
Claire said her favorite subject in school is: “Science, because it is fun to do experiments!”
Her favorite part of school is, “Prodigy and drawing apps on my ipad,” Claire said.
Someday … “I want to be a Geologist,” Claire said. “I love learning about rocks and gems. This year learning about fossils and Mary Anning inspired me!”
