4-o5-21
At 1:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to a bail jumping complaint where a male party had contacted a female party. The male party was not supposed to be contacting the female party as a condition of his bond. The male made threats to the female party, as well. The male was later arrested for the bond violation, as well as bomb scares and threats via computer.

At 7:27 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a hit-and-run crash where a vehicle had reportedly struck a curb, then a mailbox, then drove off. The investigation is ongoing to identify the driver of the vehicle.
At 3:23 p.m., an officer responded to a two-vehicle crash in the roundabout. As a result of the investigation, one of the operators was cited for failure to yield right of way.

At 11:50 a.m., an intoxicated female called 911 looking for a phone number. She has been cited in the past for misuse of 911 and was once again cited.
At 12:19 p.m., information was received that a female and child were at a location in the city of Merrill. The female had a warrant for her arrest through the state of Minnesota and the child was listed as missing/endangered. The female was arrested for her warrant, and the child was turned over to social services.
At 2:05 p.m., a theft of GPS equipment was reported. The equipment was on a rooftop of a building in Merrill. A male accessed the roof and removed equipment, throwing some off the roof and stealing other equipment. The officer is reviewing surveillance of the man to identify him. The investigation is ongoing.
At 5:24 p.m., a caller reported issues in a child custody exchange. Officers arrested the involved male for domestic battery pertaining to an unrelated incident that occurred a few days prior.
At 7:01pm a caller reported she lost her wallet at a store and it was now gone. An officer reviewed store surveillance and observed a male pick the wallet up in the parking lot and depart in a vehicle. The finder reported finding it and the item was reunited with the owner.
At 8:31 p.m., a caller reported receiving unwanted communications from a male. The female had told the male she was not interested in communicating with him but he continued. The man has been warned in the past to leave the female alone. He was cited for harassment.

At 7:23 a.m., officers arrested a male for felony bail jumping after an anonymous tipster reported the man had been in the company of several juveniles in violation of a court order. The officer viewed photographs of the man at a park with nineteen youths. The officer confirmed the bond prohibited the man from having contact with juveniles.
At 8:11 a.m., a convenience store reported an employee had stolen alcoholic beverages while on duty. The officer reviewed surveillance footage of the employee stealing two shot size bottles of booze. The employee was cited for retail theft.
At 2:07 p.m., a crash was reported in which a vehicle had crashed into a building. It was found the driver had pressed the accelerator rather than the brake. A crash report was completed.
At 7:22 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious male who was peering into vehicle windows, as well as the post office windows. Officers located the man who was found to have warrants for his arrest through Marathon County as well as the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The man was arrested for the warrant. A search of him revealed a marijuana pipe, digital scale, syringes, and methamphetamine. He was additionally charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

At 11:34 a.m., officers responded to a report of a burglary at a local storage unit. The reporting party stated the lock was cut off of his unit and many items were missing from the inside. The investigation is ongoing.

At 4:26 p.m., officers responded to a report of a historical fight at a local business. Officers spoke with the caller who reported getting into a fight with another male party at his residence earlier in the morning while he had been intoxicated. Investigation is ongoing.
At 6:43 p.m., officers were called to the Riverbend Trail for a report of damage to some items at a memorial off of the trail. The caller found that someone had vandalized some personal effects left at a memorial erected for her brother. Investigation is ongoing.

At 3:45 a.m., officers were called to the 200 block of E. 3rd St. for a hit and run crash. A vehicle struck a parked vehicle, which in turn collided with a second parked vehicle on scene. Investigation is ongoing.
At 4:52 a.m., officers were called to a residence in reference to a female being pushed through a glass window during an argument. The other involved party was found to have fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival. Officers learned the argument was a result of an intoxication-fueled dispute between the pair over a cell phone. Investigation is ongoing.
At 12:22 p.m., officers were notified of a historical assault which occurred at a residence earlier in the morning during the course of a house party. The information presented was that a female was struck while attempting to get other party goers to quiet down as they were trying to sleep in the residence. Investigation is ongoing.
At 6:08 p.m., officers were called to a local gas station where an intoxicated party was making sexual remarks towards the store attendant. The intoxicated party was removed from the scene.
