Nobody (in theatres now)
Rated R

The question that comes to mind while watching Nobody is this: How well do you really know your neighbors?
Hutch Mansell, played to perfection by Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) is a middle-aged office drone, stuck in a middle class existence, working for his father-in-law, with a wife who is pulling away from him (she literally sleeps with a pillow between them), a teenage son that does not respect him, and a daughter that still thinks Daddy is her hero, even if he does not feel like one.
After a burglary in his home, during which he refuses to act, his son will not talk to him, and his wife pulls further away. When his daughter cannot find her kitty cat bracelet, Hutch has had enough.
Turns out Hutch is not all that he first seems to be, and from there, this movie jumps into overdrive, and let me tell ya, it’s a heck of a ride. With a running time of 92 Minutes, Nobody wastes little time getting to the meat of the story, without sacrificing story development.
Sure, this story has been done before, but seldom as well as it is this time. Nobody does a fantastic job of balancing story, action, and some laugh-out-loud moments.
Nobody also benefits from a solid supporting cast, including Connie Nielson (The Devil’s Advocate) and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), who looks like he is having a real blast playing Hutch’s father.
Nobody is rated R, and it is a hard R for pervasive violence and bloodshed, so leave the little ones at home when you head to the cinema to see this one, and you should absolutely see this one. It’s a ton of fun.
Nobody gets four solid stars (out of five) because frankly, I enjoyed the heck out of this one.
