Sen. Mary Felzkowski sworn in as Wisconsin’s 12th Senate District State Senator

Madison, WI- Sen. Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) made the following statement after being sworn in Monday morning as the State Senator for Wisconsin’s 12th Senate District: “I am honored to serve as the State Senator for our district. I promise to uphold my oath of office and dutifully execute my obligations to the 12th Senate District. I will continue to serve with an absolute resolve to fight for our Northern way of life.”
The 12th Senate District includes all of Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Menominee, and Oneida Counties and parts of Marathon, Marinette, Oconto, Shawano, and Vilas Counties.
Mary Felzkowski previously served four terms as the State Representative for the 35th Assembly District, representing all of Lincoln and Langlade counties and parts of Oneida, Shawano and Marathon counties.
“The 12th Senate District is one of the largest in Wisconsin, and home to some of the toughest, most respectable, and hardest-working Wisconsinites in our state. I promise to honor you by bringing those same qualities to Madison as your representative in the State Senate. I will stand as a firm voice for conservative ideas, for principles of freedom and personal responsibility, and most importantly, for our district, and for each and every one of you in the Northwoods.”
Sen. Felzkowski now begins her first four-year term as State Senator. She will serve as Chair of the Senate Committee on Insurance, Licensing, and Forestry. She will also serve on the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance, the powerful budget-writing committee, and also as Vice-Chair of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources, and Vice-Chair of the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Legal Review, and Consumer Protection.
