Shirley Mae Graap, age 87, of Merrill, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 4, 1933 to the late Aloysius and Pearl (Fust) Schneck in Wausau, WI. She met Rinehardt Graap, and the two lovingly exchanged marriage vows on September 23, 1950. Sadly, he preceded her in death. In her younger years, Shirley worked at the Oconomowoc Canning Company and Northern Wire. For most of her adult life, she was a dedicated stay at home mom and wife, always making sure her children were cared for. Family was a priority in her life and she cherished her time with her grandchildren. In her past time, Shirley enjoyed gambling at casinos, playing cards and working on crossword puzzles. She will be lovingly remembered, but sadly missed.
Shirley is survived by her children: Geoffrey, Gabriel, Leanne, Lou Wenda, Lonna and Lana, grandchildren: Heather, Ashley, Cole, Amber, Dakota, Drake, Destiney, Faith, Ashley, Chelsey, MacKenzie, Andrew, Shannon, Josh, B.J., Chris, Aaron, Angela and Shane, along with many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Rinehardt, sons: Gerhardt, Garland, Gregory, Galen and Gareth, daughters: Lorraine and Lesley, grandchildren: Jeremy and Corey and great grandchild: Grayson.
