Timothy Paul Klug, age 82, passed away peacefully at home in Oshkosh on Monday, November 23, 2020. He was born on September 20, 1938, son of the late Frank and Emma (Uttech) Klug of Merrill, WI.  Timothy was baptized, attended day school, and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Merrill. After moving to Milwaukee and later Oshkosh, he was active in LCMS congregations there. He was a graduate of Merrill High School, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  Timothy was united in marriage to Barbara Hintz on February 27, 1965, and celebrated their 55th anniversary this year.  They were blessed with two sons, Craig and Paul.  Tim was a business owner, and also worked for HW Theis Plumbing Company.  He was a first responder volunteer for the town of Algoma for over 10 years. He really enjoyed being “up north” for deer season every year, playing baseball with the “Over-50 League,” growing and sharing garden produce, biking, walking, reading and helping others.

Timothy is survived by his wife Barbara, sons Craig Klug of Oshkosh and Paul (Kimberly) Klug of Okinawa (U.S. Marine Corps.), nephews Dale (Lena) Klug, and Mark Klug of Merrill; Matthew (Keri) Klug of Weston; niece Susan (Mario) of Ecuador; grand and great-grand nephews and nieces; cousins Carl (Betty) Uttech, and Sharon (Don) Voight of Merrill, cousin-in-law Diane Uttech of Wausau.  Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, brother David and sister-in-law LaBelle Klug.

At this time no formal services will be held.
