Judy Kasten, 57, passed away Monday November 23rd at the Marshfield hospital after a short battle with Covid. Judy was the daughter of Norman and Rachel Kasten. She graduated from Ewen Trout Creek HS in the UP of Michigan in 1982. Judy worked as a caretaker at Phelp,s WI and Ontonagon, MI nursing homes for many years. Judy will be missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by 3 sisters – Sue Henderson, Mary (Mark) Ludack, Angie (Tom) Guski – all of Ashland, WI; 4 brothers Bob (Amy), Scott (Cheryl) and Kent (Barb) all of Merrill, WI; and Norman Jr. of Mellen, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Rachel (Spargo) Kasten, 2 brothers Dave (Kris) and Dale, one sister Lori (Stacey) Taggart, brother-in-law Bernie Henderson as well as special friend ‘Shorty’ Jasper Fann and canine ‘son’ Rex.
A gathering to remember Judy will be held in the Spring of 2021.
