Jefferson Elementary second grader Lily Glisch has been named Student of the Week, for the week of Monday Nov. 23. Daughter of Lance and Allison Glisch, Lily was nominated by teacher Ms. Guthrie; “Lily is polite and respectful. She comes to class ready to learn and works hard. If she is unsure, she is not afraid to ask for help. Lily is a kind and wonderful student to have in class!”
As Lily explains, her favorite part of school is recess; “Because it’s fun outside.”
Her favorite subject in school is art “Because it’s fun to paint and color.”
Someday, Lily would like to become an artist, “Because it’s fun to make the signs.”
