Kate Goodrich Elementary students and staff are proud and excited to announce that with the help of our Culver’s Night fundraiser in 2019-2020, a generous match from Little Lake Memories (Tomahawk) and Pat Taylor, we were able to raise 2,000 dollars to sponsor Veterans to fly on the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
The Never Forgotten Honor Flight is a Not For Profit Organization of dedicated volunteers providing Veterans with closure, gratitude and respect, by flying them to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials. Priority is given to senior Veterans–World War II era, followed by Korea era and lastly Vietnam era. Each era will fly on a first come first served basis by the date of application. With the kind and generous support of our school and community, we are able to help honor these veterans and send them on a trip of a lifetime.
