On the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 8 Ambassdaors from the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated an official ribbon cutting event at Believe & Achieve Learning and Recreational Center, located at 812 E. First Street.
Believe & Achieve Learning and Recreational Center’s adult day service program is based on daily living, and social skills.
“We focus on learning or maintaining skills our participants need in a warm home- like environment,” explains director Gina Krause.
“We feel it is important to practice healthy living. We are also doing some community volunteering. We go on field trips, work on crafts, play games, read, watch movies and just simply enjoy each other’s company. We strive to make everyone’s day a good one.”
