On Saturday, Sept. 26, Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors joined staff of Vibe Out Nutrition for an official ribbon cutting event at the new store’s location of 418 W. Main Street.
As store owner Christy Kathrein explains, the inspiration to establish a location offering healthy living options stems from working with a close friend and mentor in her native town of Medford.
“After working together for over a year, she encouraged me to open my own place. While looking at various options in the area, I realized Merrill didn’t have many options for healthy nutrition and lifestyle. So I set about looking for a suitable location, found excactly what I was looking for right here,” she adds.
“The first time I walked into a nutrition club I immediately fell in love with the good vibe atmosphere and energy. Surrounding myself with energetic, amazing people and the vibe of the club has changed my life. After each visit I felt amazing and I love the shakes and teas! I realized I wanted to share that with everybody.”
Since Vibe-Out Nutrition first opened on Saturday, Aug. 10, the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, according to Kathrein.
“The Merrill community has just been amazing. We have been made to feel very welcomed by both our customers and neighboring businesses. Business has been great!”
In addition to a feel-good Vibe, Vibe Out Nutrition offers a variety of products and services, including healthy shakes and clean, energizing teas, supplements and meal replacements. Christy and her staff also offer meal plans.
“We offer both short and long-term meal plans which help people achieve their goals in losing and gaining weight,” Christy explains.
